Meat and cancer

It has been known for several years that charred meat is linked to cancer. A new study from the University of Hawaii finds that processed meats may also be linked to cancer, but it seems that high heat is responsible here too.

According to Chinese medicine, excessive meat can, indeed, lead to cancers. However, this is also a matter of climate: excess meat is less likely to be dangerous in cold, dry areas. Perhaps it’s significant that the study took place in Hawaii, which is very hot.

A more technical explanation for the interested reader. According to the Law of 5 elements, meat belongs to Earth. Burning is Excess Fire, which increases Earth. Excess Earth can lead to cancer.
